Bay Area Guitar Hero Jimmy Dillon Returns From Paradise To Celebrate With Friends At The Sweetwater Music Hall!

In what’s shaping up to be one of the Bay Area’s most compelling musical reunions of 2025, veteran guitarist Jimmy Dillon is trading his Hawaiian sanctuary for the familiar fog of Mill Valley. After making Maui his home and creative base for the past few years, Dillon’s bringing his distinctive blues-rock sound back to the Sweetwater Music Hall, a venue that’s hosted its fair share of legendary performances.

“I get by with a little help from my friends,” could well be the motto for this homecoming show, as Dillon has assembled an impressive roster of Bay Area musical talent. The lineup reads like a who’s who of the local scene: The rock-solid Eric McCann will be sitting in on bass, and the precise rhythmic force of Kevin Hayes will be behind the drums.

Rounding out this stellar ensemble are the powerful vocals of Tracy Blackman, the skilled Dallis Craft on keys, Michael Peloquin on saxophone, and Marcel Marchetti delivering trumpet lines. It’s a gathering of musicians who’ve spent decades perfecting their craft, now coming together for one incredible night. There will also be a special appearance by the masterful Lorin Rowan on guitar and vocals.

Set for February 28th, 2025, this isn’t just another show on the calendar – it’s a proper homecoming celebration. Doors open at 7, with music starting at 8 PM sharp. The Sweetwater’s intimate setting ensures there isn’t a bad spot in the house to witness this return performance.

For anyone who appreciates the Bay Area’s rich musical heritage, this is one show you won’t want to miss.
