Coffis Plays Petty returns to California for the first time since 2023; a specially curated evening of songs taken exclusively from the Tom Petty songbook performed by The Coffis Brothers. The Coffis Brothers will perform the songs and music that have so heavily influenced their sound since the band’s formation in 2011, touching on every corner of the Tom Petty catalog. No band contributed more to rock ’n’ roll than Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and The Coffis Brothers will pay tribute with a special evening of songs spanning Petty’s career.

With two songwriters, six albums, and more than a thousand shows under their belt, The Coffis Brothers have earned their reputation as modern-day torchbearers of all-American rock & roll. It’s a sound caught halfway between amplified Americana, acoustic folk, roadhouse R&B, and electrifying roots music, crafted by a pair of California-born siblings who’ve been sharing the stage since childhood, and the five piece band filled out by Kyle Poppen (guitar), Aidan Collins (bass), and Cory Graves (drums).

Singer-songwriter AC Sapphire has just completed her forthcoming album, “Heavy Flowers”, featuring members of Ween, The War on Drugs, Jobi Ricio and The Deslondes.  The record is currently being mixed by Jonathan Wilson.

“Heavy Flowers” is the product of extraordinary collaboration and deeply personal songwriting, earning it the Grand Prize in The New Songs Songwriting Contest out of Asheville, NC.

Sapphire’s songs inhabit a space of liminal nostalgia—shimmering visions of a world caught somewhere between what was, what is, and what might have been. In an era too easily dismissed as mundane, against the backdrop of a fractured nation and a changing world, her music searches for something timeless in the darkness.  Sapphire is carrying that torch forward: writing songs that feel both rooted in another time and unmistakably of this one.

She has previously opened for Amos Lee, Cat Clyde, and Son Little.
