Born out of Marin’s vibrant ’80s music scene, The Edge carved out a distinctive sound with their high-energy blend of rock, reggae, ska, and world rhythms. On November 20th, The Edge will reunite with Jimmy Dillon on (guitar/vocals), Lorin Rowan on (guitar/vocals), Eric McCann (bass), and Matt Willis (drums). Together, they channel the roots of reggae and rock with a global twist, infusing Afro-Cuban, New Orleans funk, R&B, and world-beat grooves into a sound that’s both nostalgic and freshly alive.
Opening the evening are two acclaimed artists, Keith Greeninger and Dayan Kai. Longtime friends and collaborators, they blend award-winning songwriting, stunning vocal harmonies, and an inspiring, in-the-moment improvisational spirit. Greeninger’s soulful troubadour voice and storytelling have earned him top honors at the Telluride Bluegrass and Kerrville Folk Festivals, while Kai, blind since birth, is a multi-instrumental force of nature whose angelic vocals and virtuosity on piano, strings, winds, and percussion create a powerful and immersive sound.
