Since their formation in Carteret, New Jersey in 1980, The Smithereens have earned a reputation as one of America’s most enduring rock bands. Founding members Pat DiNizio (vocals/guitar), Jim Babjak (guitar/vocals), Mike Mesaros (bass/vocals), and Dennis Diken (drums/vocals) built a distinctive sound rooted in the melodic punch of the British Invasion, fused with the raw energy of American garage rock. The result was a catalog of timeless songs that continue to resonate with audiences worldwide. The band’s breakthrough came with the 1986 release of Especially for You, featuring the modern rock classics “Blood and Roses” and “Behind the Wall of Sleep.” Critical acclaim and radio success soon followed with Green Thoughts (1988) and 11 (1989), albums that delivered charting singles including “Only a Memory,” “A Girl Like You,” and “Too Much Passion.” Throughout the late 1980s and 1990s, The Smithereens became fixtures on MTV, college radio, and mainstream rock stations, while touring extensively with artists such as Tom Petty, Lou Reed, and The Pretenders. Celebrated for their muscular live performances, The Smithereens have always stayed true to their roots while expanding their reach. Their body of work includes not only original material but also acclaimed tributes to their musical heroes, including full-length homages to The Beatles and The Who, affirming their place in the lineage of classic rock. Following the passing of frontman Pat DiNizio in 2017, Babjak, Mesaros, and Diken made the decision to honor his memory by continuing to perform and record. Joined by guest vocalists such as Robin Wilson (Gin Blossoms), John Cowsill (from the Cowsills & Beach Boys) and Marshall Crenshaw, the band continues to bring their celebrated songs to both longtime fans and new generations. The band’s latest album is THE LOST ALBUM featuring previously unreleased sessions with Pat DiNizio.

Hailing from Oakland, California, The Humidors have been churning out their own unique brand of party music for over a decade. Combining elements of hard-hitting funk, greasy soul, vintage R&B, soul jazz, and more you can be sure that this eight-piece unit is committed to the groove in all its shapes and forms. Consisting of some of the best Bay Area musicians and led by the heartfelt lead vocals of Tori Roze, The Humidors have established themselves over their tenure as one of the West Coast's premier funk & soul bands and are committed to spreading the Gospel of Funk to dance floors everywhere. Having shared the stage with acts such as Dumpstaphunk, The New Mastersounds, The Meters' Leo Nocentelli, Shuggie Otis, and the late, great Bernie Worrell, The Humidors are in their element on stage. Bursts and washes of B3, punchy horns, chugging percussion, thumping bass, and burning guitar leads all interweave in an infectious polyrhythmic stew. In the world of music, the term “fusion” tends to raise eyebrows. Yet, the sonic explorers of Seattle octuplet Cytrus have spent the last three years crafting a debut that draws deftly from a broad melodic palette, melding distinct stylistic threads into a cohesive creative voice. Relax, and the grooves will flow through your soul. Concentrate, and you’ll find yourself tumbling through an immaculately constructed alternate reality when melody and rhythm dance hand in hand through spacetime. Shaped by Jared Squires (guitar/vocals), Luke Nevills (bass/keys), Brandon Hailey (saxophone), Owen Mayo (keys/guitar), Trevor Church (drums), Alex Dean (synth/keys), Sean Connelly (vocals/keys), and Connor Merritt (aux percussion), Cytrus mines psychedelic funk, disco, electronic, rock, soul, hip-hop. Flowing through kaleidoscopic transitions, the band’s juicy synths and brass-powered grooves coalesce into an undeniable, hypnotic wall of sound.

The sound of Wolf Jett will make you dance, sing… and possibly even howl! Their all-original songs infuse folk, soul and Americana into what they call "Cosmic Mountain Music.” Co-founded by two life-long friends and musical partners, Wolf Jett combines the southern-fried vocals and guitar of Tennessee-born frontman Chris Jones with Jon Payne’s endlessly groovy drums. Currently performing with Duncan Shipton (bass), Allyson Makuch (vocals), Rory Cloud (guitar), and Alex Benjamin (keys/percussion). Chris and Jon formed Wolf Jett in early 2020. The ‘Jett’ comes from his maternal grandfather’s last name, and is a tribute to his family’s legacy. Just before the scheduled release of their debut album the world was hit by pandemic and all tours were cancelled, so they constructed an analog studio at Jon’s residence called “House on a Hill" in Boulder Creek, CA. Tragically, CZU Lightning fires ripped through Big Basin State Park in August of that year, consuming the house and studio along with it. Their story was featured in SF Chronicle, Oakland Tribune, San Jose Mercury, and Santa Cruz Sentinel. Seeing an opportunity to bring healing energy to their community, they recorded an emotionally-charged live performance of their song "Garden of Pain" among the ashes and rubble of where their home once stood with the help of friends The T Sisters, which was featured on several streaming fundraisers to help raise much-needed donations for thousands of fire victims. They have performed with California Honeydrops, Allen Stone, Cedric Burnside, Fruition, The Brothers Comatose, AJ Lee & Blue Summit, Shiny Ribs, and Mother Hips. Their albums feature Jason Crosby (Jackson Browne), Stelth Ulvang (Lumineers), James Deprato (Chuck Prophet), and Eric Yates (Hot Buttered Rum). Currently in Radio rotation on local CA stations KPIG, KZSC, KRML, KBCZ, KSQD, as well as WNCW in North Carolina and WDVX in Tennessee. Sqwerv's roots run deep in the Denver music scene. Those roots began to take hold as the band started hosting local open jams and playing gigs at small bars and venues in 2017. Since then, Sqwerv has become a staple in Denver's music scene with bands like Magic Beans, Squeaky Feet, Eminence Ensemble and Rado. This four-piece Indie-Psych Rock band's love for classic rock, psychedelic music and improvisation creates a sound that is refreshingly original and exciting. Sqwerv realizes the importance of good songwriting and is always pushing themselves in the improvisation. The band spends a great deal of time writing lyrics, composing, and developing song structure that has grown into a catalogue that ranges from twelve minute prog songs inspired by Homer's Odyssey to two minute psych songs about love. They are fiercely driven to get to those transcendent, improvised spaces that all jam-music lovers crave. Sqwerv continues to deliver to their audiences through groove, counterpoint, polyrhythms and risk taking. In the last two years the band has released two studio albums, three live albums and completed two national tours with no plans on stopping. They have had the opportunity to open for acts like Lespecial, Spafford, Eggy and Big Something. They hold themselves to a rigorous tour schedule playing unique shows for their fans on a regular basis. From reflective ballads to footstomping reels and jigs, the variety and range of the material they perform is matched only by their enthusiasm and lively Celtic spirits. "Formed from a Paisley pub session in 1968, seminal trailblazers the Tannahill Weavers now also rank as national treasures." -Glasgow Celtic Connections

In 2026, Horse Feathers’ debut album, Words Are Dead, celebrates its 20th anniversary. Kill Rock Stars is set to release a deluxe reissue that will be completely remastered and pressed on an exclusive vinyl color. It will include a replica of their original six-song demo CD in the package, along with a deluxe foil-stamped LP jacket. To support the release, Horse Feathers’ current ensemble of Justin Ringle (guitar, vocals, banjo), Nathan Crockett (violin, saw), Halli Anderson of River Whyless (violin, vocals), Kati Claborn of Blind Pilot (banjo, vocals, clarinet), and Luke Ydstie also of Blind Pilot (bass, cello, vocals) faithfully recreate the mood of the original release with taut dynamics and sensitive arrangements. In the years following Words Are Dead, Horse Feathers quietly built a body of work defined by patience and evolution rather than reinvention. Records like House With No Home, Thistled Spring, and Cynic’s New Year expanded their sonic palette without abandoning the restraint that fi rst set them apart. By the time of Appreciation, the band had begun to open its sound outward, introducing richer arrangements and a subtle warmth that suggested growth without rupture. Through it all, Ringle remained a steady center, writing songs that favored emotional precision over spectacle. The reissue of Words Are Dead does not attempt to rewrite that history. Instead, it brings the origin point back into focus, offering a rare chance to hear where it all began while recognizing how far the project has traveled since. Revisiting the album now, with two decades of distance, reveals not just a beginning but a foundation. The same careful interplay, the same attention to space and tone, still anchors the band’s work today. In that sense, the reissue feels less like a retrospective and more like a continuation. A reminder that some records do not age so much as they wait for the right moment to be heard again.

Eamonn Flynn forges his own brand of Irish soul. The Dublin-born singer-songwriter/pianist got his start with The Commitments, a hit film about an Irish soul band, and has since worked with American blues and R&B stars Elvin Bishop, Maria Muldaur, Evelyn Champagne King, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Zigaboo Modeliste (The Meters), The Ray Charles Project, and many more. He also kept a hand in Irish music playing with Shay and Michael Black and Finbar Furey and has played piano and organ for many years at San Francisco's Glide Memorial Church. Flynn's new quartet DUBLINESQUE brings his deep soul and gospel roots together with the Irish music traditions he was raised on. "Dublinesque is my attempt to recreate the kind of parties we had in my parents' house, growing up in Dublin," explains Flynn. "There'd be neighbours and friends, and it would always end up as a sing-song/jam session. Everyone would participate - if you couldn't hold a tune, you'd perform a 'recitation' or tell a joke! "There was never any delineation between genres of music - whether it was Irish tunes and ballads, soul music, or a Beatles song," he emphasizes. The band brings together three talented Bay Area Irish traditional musicians: fellow Irishman Félim Egan (The Black Brothers) on accordion, local favorite Darcy Noonan on fiddle, and from the Basque Country, Spain, Hector Bragado on banjo. "This is my chance to play with some of my favorite musicians and recreate those parties!" says Flynn.

Berkeley singer-songwriter Alexis Harte celebrates the release of his new album, Thirsty, with a special full-band performance at Sweetwater Music Hall. Known for crafting songs that balance wit, heart, and hard-earned insight – and winning an Annie and a Peabody Award along the way – Harte's music draws from the rich traditions of Americana, folk-rock, and roots music while remaining unmistakably his own. Thirsty is his most ambitious work to date—a collection of songs both deeply personal and universally resonant. Joining him for the evening is The Lemon Hammer, the Bay Area band Harte has called home for more than fifteen years. Known for their irresistible blend of groove, grit, and harmony, The Lemon Hammer brings together Damond Moodie's powerful vocals, Aaron Brinkerhoff's driving rhythms, Ferg Lenehan's thundering bass lines, and Harte's soaring guitar work Together, Harte and The Lemon Hammer will bring Thirsty to life with a high-energy set featuring the album's songs alongside fan favorites, deep cuts, and a few surprises. Expect an evening of memorable storytelling, and the kind of musical chemistry that can only come from years of friendship and collaboration. Come Thirsty. “On a scene with no lack of smart, resourceful singer-songwriters, the Bay Area's Alexis Harte has long distinguished himself with lovingly detailed tunes that transform his rootsy influences into a lithe, personal sound.” Andrew Gilbert - San Francisco Chronicle The Lemon Hammer nails rock 'n' roll with some soul." — Tony DuShane, San Francisco Chronicle

Born Jepther Washington McClymont, the reggae artist “Luciano” has long reigned as the king of “conscious” reggae music. Living in Jamaica, Luciano was influenced by reggae icons such as Bob Marley and drawn to the positive message of the “one love movement”. Dubbed “Luciano” in reference to a comparison to the clear soaring vocals of Luciano Pavarotti, his voice resonates with impeccable intonation and pitch. Luciano paired with producer Freddy McGregor to record for his “Big Ship” label. This resulted in his first solid mark on the charts in the UK with a cover of Cheryl Lyn’s R & B hit “Shake it Up Tonight”. As this song hit the #1 position, his name began circulating amongst reggae producers like Phillip “Fattis” Burrell and the result was his 1993 recording “Moving Up” on the Xterminator label that was released to critical acclaim through VP Records. It was not long after, that the founder of Island Records, Chris Blackwell, (known for signing artists from Bob Marley to U2) took note and signed him to the now defunct Island/Mango record label. His 1995 recording “Where There is Life” swept across the world producing a string of number 1 hits such as “It’s Me Again Jah”, “Lord Give Me Strength”, “Your World and Mine” and “Who Could It Be”. What makes Luciano a unique artist in the reggae world is his ability to cross over from the dancehall to the roots audience, leaving no one behind with his brilliance. From early on, he began touring extensively throughout the world, taking his live show on the road. From Japan to Africa, throughout Australia, the UK and the United States, there isn’t a person who loves reggae that isn’t familiar with the name Luciano – fondly called “The Messenger”. Aside from the traditional venues, in 2014, Luciano was a featured performer with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in the Netherlands, another nod to his incredible talents as a songwriter and performer. Luciano has received many awards and accolades over the years. In 2001 the VP recording of the album, “A New Day” was nominated for a Reggae Grammy ™; in a show of national pride in 2007 the Jamaican government awarded him the Order of Distinction (an award rendered for outstanding and important services to Jamaica – in his particular case, an honor in the field of entertainment). Other awards include receiving the “Key to Kansas City” and in 2015, being honored by a “Luciano Day” in Hartford, Connecticut. Most recently, Luciano has also received a second Grammy™ nomination for “Best Reggae Album” at the 2016 Awards. As a prolific recording artist, he has released or been included in at least 40 albums and when asked how has he recorded so many songs, Luciano replied, “How can you stop a bird from singing?” This is a fitting response from a singer who constantly gives his all.

Recorded live to tape in just two days, Robert Ellis’s exquisite new album, Yesterday’s News, is as stripped-down as it gets, with the celebrated songwriter and producer’s delicate, reedy tenor accompanied only by nylon string guitar, upright bass, and the occasional piece of handheld percussion. The arrangements are harmonically sophisticated here, drawing on the open tunings and intricate fingerpicking of English songwriters like Nick Drake or Richard Thompson, and Ellis’s performances are similarly subtle and nuanced, tapping into the bittersweet longing of Chet Baker and the playful poignancy of Bill Evans and Jim Hall. While that might seem surprising coming off 2019’s raucous Texas Piano Man, subverting expectations is nothing new for Ellis. Born and raised outside Houston, he gained early acclaim for his piercing introspection and absorbing narratives, but over the course of five solo albums, he flirted with everything from Paul Simon and John Prine to Elton John and Joni Mitchell in a series of sonic and visual transformations that ran the gamut from Redneck Steely Dan to Lone Star Liberace. NPR hailed his “musical daring and impeccable songcraft,” while Rolling Stone praised his “sharp eye for storytelling,” and the New York Times lauded his writing as an emotional “gut punch.” Yesterday’s News marks Ellis’s debut LP for Niles City Records, an outgrowth of the famed Niles City Sound studio he and longtime collaborator Josh Block run in Fort Worth, TX.

With a batch of incredible new songs and an undeniable energy, the band is excited to bring their show to festivals, theaters and clubs around the world. “We want to be the band who reminds the world how important a good gig can be to our sanity after what we’ve all been through,” says Roberts. For only the second time the band is looking to its fans to finance the album instead of a traditional record company. “The business has changed so much over our lifetime that it no longer makes sense for us to take money from a label and then owe it all back,” adds Roberts. “Making all our supporters co-producers is a far more rewarding way to make a record and allows us to maintain control all the way”. The Young Dubliners have released nine albums to date. In recent years, the band has appeared twice on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, had songs featured in TV shows (Sons Of Anarchy, Human Target) and toured extensively as a headliner and as the opener for such a diverse list of artists as Collective Soul, Jethro Tull, Johnny Lang, Los Lobos and Chris Issak. Although the Young Dubliners sound is most commonly called Celtic Rock, that label can often be misleading. The Irish influence is certainly there, but it’s not the only influence that bursts through on their albums or live shows. After all, several of the band members have no Irish roots of any kind. “That was always the idea,” Roberts said. “The sound was intended to be a hybrid because we all come from different backgrounds. Even though I am from Ireland, a lot of the music I listened to growing up wasn’t Irish at all, but when I got here, I got homesick and developed a new appreciation for Irish Music. In truth the Celtic riffs can just as easily come from the American band members. Everyone writes now so you never know what you’ll end up with.”

They are led by Reverend Peyton, who most consider to be the premier finger picker playing today. He has earned a reputation as both a singularly compelling performer and a persuasive evangelist for the rootsy, country blues styles that captured his imagination early in life and inspired him and his band to make pilgrimages to Clarksdale, Mississippi to study under such blues masters as T-Model Ford, Robert Belfour and David “Honeyboy” Edwards. Their ecord Dance Songs For Hard Times went #1 on the Billboard, iTunes and Sirius XM Blues Charts and was produced by Grammy winner Vance Powell. The record was critically acclaimed by Rolling Stone, Relix, Popmatters, Guitar World, American Songwriter, No Depression, Glide, Wide Open Country, Paste, American Blues Scene and many more! Their latest record, Honeysuckle was produced and recorded by Reverend Peyton and mixed by eight-time Grammy winner Vance Powell (Chris Stapleton, Jack White). The record features many special guests, including gospel music group The McCrary Sisters on the song "Manger," Blues Music Hall of Famer and Grammy-nominated harmonica player Billy Branch who plays on the Blind Lemon Jefferson song "Nell (Prison Cell Blues)," Grammy award-winning and IBMA's 10-time Fiddle Player of the Year Michael Cleveland plays on "Freeborn Man" and Colton Crawford from The Dead South plays banjo on "The Good Die Young."

Rogers will continue to also perform with his long-time band, The Delta Rhythm Kings, in 2025 and select Solo dates. “I’m the guy that always likes to push the envelope,” Rogers says, at home in Northern California. “We have always covered a lot of ground with other artists that I have had synergy with our musical tastes, and my band has been with me for many years – we just sync so well. I’ve been very fortunate through the years to collaborate with many gifted musicians that I admire and consider longtime friends.” Born in Redding in 1950 and named after Hollywood’s King of the Cowboys, Rogers grew up in the Bay Area of California and started playing guitar at the age of 12 and became entranced by the recordings of the blues, especially Robert Johnson at age 15. By age 13 he was playing in a local R & B band and quickly became a young blues fanatic hitting the San Francisco’s ‘60s club scene. When Hooker asked him to go on tour in 1982, it changed his life becoming John’s friend, musical director, biz manager on the road and eventually his producer for 4 Grammy albums of note “The Healer”, which won a Grammy for both Hooker & Raitt, as well as the releases of “Mr. Lucky”; Boom Boom & Chill Out. In addition, producing releases for folk legend Ramblin’ Jack Elliott Rogers “Friends of Mine” and “The Long Ride” for Elliott which also garnered Grammy nominations.

One night in the middle of the night there were a series of noises coming from above which lead to a series of thoughts. It sounded like something was working. Building something… A nest for its family? A trap for its prey? This led to more thoughts about unseen things at work. A God? A voice in your head? It all feels kind of made up until someone responds to it. Less means more. That’s kind of always how it’s been with us. This time the rules were simple: we can only use what we work with live and whatever we put down on tape must be accomplishable on a stage in a live setting. That’s always seemed to be when we’re at our best. Or most twitchy. Many times we’ve made records that we loved and then, after figuring out how we’d perform it live, we end up falling in love with the live arrangement because being a 2 piece band, it took some real risk and struggle which led to innovation, which gave it a whole new life. (Consider the tortured grape.) So with this one we just started there and worked backwards. The result encapsulates, more than anything we’ve done before, the sound of our live performance. Resulting in what one might consider by definition, a definitive album.

Southern Culture On The Skids has been consistently recording and touring around the world since 1983. The band (Rick Miller – guitar and vocals, Mary Huff – bass and vocals, Dave Hartman – drums) has been playing together for over 30 years. Their musical journey has taken them from all-night North Carolina house parties to late night TV talk shows (Conan O’Brien, The Tonight Show), from performing at the base of Mt. Fuji in Japan to rockin’ out for the inmates at North Carolina correctional facilities. They’ve shared a stage with many musical luminaries including Link Wray, Loretta Lynn, Hasil Adkins and Patti Smith. Their music has been featured in movies and TV, parodied by Weird Al, and used to sell everything from diamonds to pork sausage. In 2014 the band was honored by the Southern Folklife Collection at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with an exhibition featuring their music and cultural contributions. Their legendary live shows are a testament to the therapeutic powers of foot-stomping, butt-shaking rock and roll and what Rolling Stone dubbed “a hell raising rock and roll party.” At Home with Southern Culture on the Skids is the latest full length album from the band and was released in March of 2021. It was recorded during the stay at home period of the pandemic when the band was at home and not touring. The album consists of 11 tracks recorded and mixed in Rick Miller’s living room with some additional tracks recorded at his studio, The Kudzu Ranch. The first radio single off the album is “Run Baby Run”—a rocking number with deep garage roots. SCOTS bassist Mary Huff provides an urgent vocal while the band pulls back the throttle on a full race fuzz fest—cause she’s gotta to go fast! Run Baby Run! The other songs on the album are a combination of the band’s unique mix of musical genres: rock and roll, surf, folk and country—all a bit off-center, what Rick proudly calls “our wobbly Americana”. Rick goes on, “We put a few more acoustic guitars on this one, as you would expect if you recorded in your living room, but it still rocks like SCOTS. So put your headphones on, get in your favorite chair/sofa/recliner, put on “At Home With” and let’s hang out for a while.” Guitar riffs as lumpy as a camel, rough as a jackhammer or smooth and bright as Tennessee sippin’ whiskey, all slung loose and loud over salacious beats - No Depression For over thirty years, Southern Culture On The Skids have played an eclectic range of Americana including rockabilly, surf rock, country and R&B, with a punk edge and heaps of humor. They are known for their legendary live shows and wacky antics...But it’s more than just great fun; they are fantastic musicians to boot. - Elmore Magazine This Chapel Hill-based trio is flat-out amazing. Without resorting to needless flash or attention-hungry showboating, Miller in particular is one of the most spectacularly gifted guitar players I’ve ever seen. He juggles a lot of styles – country, garage rock, surf, rockabilly and soul to name just a few. - Stomp & Stammer

For Ariel Posen, songwriting and guitar playing have always gone hand-in-hand. He's spent a decade building a bridge between those two worlds, balancing his work as a hotshot instrumentalist — including collaborations with everyone from John Mayer to Tom Jones — with solo albums rooted in melody and autobiographical storytelling. The result is a career that's every bit as diverse as his music. With performances at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival, his own Fender Stratocaster signature model, and a powerful voice that matches his fretwork, Posen explores uncharted territory, blurring the lines between genre and generation along the way. On his latest release, Bannatyne, that exploration leads Posen back to the place where everything began. Named after an avenue in his hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba, it's a record about reexamining one's past in order to fully appreciate the present. Woven into the album's 12 songs are larger-than-life riffs and upbeat tempos (a nod to the 1990s rock music that soundtracked Posen's childhood), along with the syncopated grooves and explorative, unexpected textures that have always steered his work. Equally influenced by the raw energy of his live shows — where Posen has been known to plug in and stretch out, showcasing the chops that prompted Rolling Stone to call him "a modern-day guitar hero" — and the tight craft of his songwriting, Bannatyne is a full-circle snapshot of an artist in evolution, chasing down new horizons while still honouring his musical roots.

Duane Betts ignites and brings an evolution to the Southern rock tradition. With a fiery legacy forged by his father, the legendary Dickey Betts, the second generation musician infuses it with his own soul-stirring blend of blues, raw passion, and six-string mastery. Backed by his band, Palmetto Motel, Betts delivers a dynamic live show filled with searing guitar solos, heartfelt storytelling, and a mix of classic influences with fresh energy. Fans can expect a blend of roots rock, blues, and some improvisational jamming, creating an electrifying yet deeply authentic experience. With top-tier musicianship, a connection to rock ‘n’ roll history, and the desire to make every performance a true experience, a Palmetto Motel show is an unforgettable journey that no music lover should miss. Palmetto Motel is… Johnny Stachela (guitar, vocals) Pedro Arevalo (bass, vocals) Vincent Fossett Jr. (drums) Max Butler (B-3 organ) After a 14-year hiatus, Miko Marks has spent the last few years making up for lost time. Her early career as a country singer brought critical acclaim but also a series of industry execs who didn’t think they could market her to their audiences. In 2021 she re-emerged as a “monster talent” according to Rolling Stone, drawing on the full scope of her musical and cultural roots, and has quickly become a fan favorite at festivals and venues all over the country. With a vintage sound that deftly blends Americana, blues, southern rock, and even gospel, her powerful voice and warm, soulful spirit literally bring every audience to its feet. She follows up Our Country (2021), Race Records (2021 EP), Feel Like Going Home (2022) and its 2024 deluxe version (feat. Buddy Miller, Tré Burt, Melissa Carper...) with a blues album coming in 2026.

Clinton Fearon is one of the most prolific reggae artists of his generation. He’s 75 today and still records new songs every year, new albums every other year and more! Composer, songwriter, singer and player of instruments since his early teens, Clinton Fearon recorded 15 albums under his own name and he’s still touring the world with this impressive repertoire, accompanied by his band or in solo acoustic. Born in Jamaica, Clinton became the bassist, vocalist and lyricist of the mythic Gladiators at the age of 19. He spent 18 years with the band and signed several songs for The Gladiators, hits and classics like Chatty Chatty Mouth, Richman Poorman, On The Other Side, Can You Imagine How I Feel and more. Clinton Fearon was also a session musician for different producers in Jamaica, including Coxsone Dodd at Studio One and Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry’s at Black Ark, but also at Channel One, Aquarius, Harry J, Randy’s, etc. In these studios, Clinton Fearon composed some everlasting bass lines for artists like Yabby You, Jimmy Riley, Max Romeo, Junior Byles and many others. After leaving The Gladiators and Jamaica in 1987, Clinton Fearon started a new career in Seattle. At first he was one of the singers of The Defenders with his fellow Jamaican musicians. The band built a nice following in the area until they split after five years. And finally Clinton Fearon formed his own band in the mid 90s with local musicians: Clinton Fearon and Boogie Brown Band. Since 2019, Clinton Fearon is also teaming up with the Riddim Source band, featuring la crème de la crème of the French reggae musicians scene. Together they recorded “Breaking News” in 2022 and “Jah Is Love”, brand new album of the reggae master, was released June 6th 2025. Each song of Clinton Fearon is a strong message coming from the heart of a man who is dedicating his life to help a better world to come. With chiseled music and poetic lyrics, he opens reggae to a wider audience who simply loves his beautiful songs.

The Seeds remain amongst the most beloved and iconographic of the original 1960s garage-psych avatars. To many, their edgy dissonant sounds and relentless fuzz-fuelled drive, tinged with flights of psychedelic fancy, make The Seeds the quintessential exponent of the genre, as heard on such classics-for-the-ages as ‘Pushin’ Too Hard,’ ‘Can’t Seem To Make You Mine’ and ‘Mr Farmer.’ Their eponymous 1966 debut album has long been recognized as a minimalist rock ’n’ roll masterpiece, while its sequels, the pop-art A Web Of Sound and florid Future, have also grown more influential as time goes on. For decades, the name The Seeds was most closely identified with the activities of their eccentric vocalist, the late Sky Saxon, but the first, path-finding line-up was always a collaboration, the musical director of which was, without a doubt, keyboard whiz Daryl Hooper. Now, in the 2020s, as the only surviving original Seed, Daryl has reclaimed his birthright with a new and powerful set of Seeds personnel: band historian Alec Palao on bass, singer/frontman extraordinaire Paul Kopf, and Sky Saxon alumni Mark Bellgraph on guitar and Justin Smith on drums. LOVE with Johnny Echols sees Arthur Lee’s longest serving band continue to perform the classic songs from Love’s first three albums Love, Da Capo, Four Sail and of course the timeless Forever Changes. This isn’t just a nostalgia trip – their shows are drawing in an increasingly younger audience as teens and students are discovering the timeless music produced by these 60s legends performed by a band that is truly on top of its game.Johnny Echols: “I so look forward to performing LOVE's extraordinary music to an appreciative audience. We perform much of Forever Changes, as well as favourites from our extensive catalogue... a few deep cuts as well as a few surprises!” Joining Johnny Echols on stage is Baby Lemonade who from 1993 until Arthur’s death in 2006 performed as his band and became an essential part of the renaissance of LOVE’s music. This iteration of LOVE saw many sold-out tours, including a US tour with the Zombies, as well as back-to-back performances at the legendary Glastonbury festival (UK) and appearances all over Europe. On July 8th, 2024 “Five String Serenade,” the lead single from Just To Remind You—the first new Arthur Lee / Love studio album in 33 years was released. The song features a gorgeous orchestral arrangement by David Angel, harkening back to his work on Love’s timeless classic Forever Changes. Famously covered by Mazzy Star, the track was recorded in the same room at L.A.’s Sunset Sound where Love recorded their first three albums, and features lead guitar from Love founding member Johnny Echols and tasteful backing from the current and longest-serving incarnation of Love. A radical folk artist in the tradition of Woody Guthrie, her infectious melodies and lyrical wit keep listeners rapt while she conjures spirits of vaudeville, campfire singalongs, and punk rock. Blanton and her road-tested band deploy humor, camaraderie, and considerable musical muscle to enroll each audience in a rare vision of hope and solidarity. In addition to writing and performing music, Carsie works as a political organizer and activist. In fall of 2025, she participated in the Global Sumud Flotilla, a direct action to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza by sailboat. In early October, after a month at sea, she was imprisoned in Israel for five days along with hundreds of her comrades. Soon after, Blanton released The Little Flame, a song of solidarity covered widely on social media during her detention. The Little Flame features background vocals from Irish band Ye Vagabonds and Carsie’s Palestinian/New Zealander prison-mate Rana Hamida, and appears on her latest album, The Red Album Vol II. After two decades spent on the road, Blanton has amassed a dedicated fan base and a small menagerie of viral hits, and regularly sells out mid-size venues across the U.S. and Europe. 2026 will find her touring heavily with her own band and in collaboration with Canadian folk-punk rabblerousers The Burning Hell, as well as continuing her organizing work with Artists Against Apartheid, Party for Socialism and Liberation and others. “Beautiful, militant anthems.” - Ken Tucker, NPR’s Fresh Air “Carsie Blanton is fighting fascism with big hooks and an even bigger heart.” -American Songwriter

Singer, songwriter, and humanitarian Etana is a powerhouse vocalist and 2X Grammy Award nominee. It's been over a decade since her debut as a reggae artist; she is now a recognized and respected entertainer in her native Jamaica and is also well known worldwide. Born Shauna McKenzie, the young talent migrated to the United States for the opportunity and briefly pursued a pop music career before rediscovering her roots as an adult and adopting the moniker Etana, “The Strong One” in Swahili. The return home spurred the evolution of her sound and is evident in her body of work expressed as the fusion of folk, soul, jazz, and reggae. Etana taps into the likes of Marcia Griffiths, Etta James, and Miriam Makeba for harnessing a deeply emotional sound, and she is the modern embodiment of their influence. In 2008 Etana debuted the album, The Strong One, featuring various musicians and producers. The project reached the #12 spot on the Reggae Billboard chart, and consecutively released singles released by VP Records, which helped to introduce the spirited singer to the world. Lyrical hits “Warrior Love” and “I Am Not Afraid” made a lasting impression, as did “Free” and “Happy Heart” from the second album Free Expressions, notably a repeat Reggae Billboard chart climber. Not to be outdone, she released her fourth album I Rise to much acclaim, nabbing the #1 spot on the iconic chart, marking the first female artist out of Jamaica to earn such a designation seventeen years. Fast forward to 2018, Etana was nominated for the 61st Annual Grammy Awards for Reggae Forever in the Best Reggae Album category. The project was co-produced by Etana (Freemind Music) and distributed by Tad's Records. The distinction by The Recording Academy marked the first time in over twenty years that a woman was designated that bracket. In 2019, she released the eight-track EP Dimensions, then a full-length album Gemini released in 2020, Her latest album Pamoja (2021) earned Etana her 2nd Grammy Nomination, the album features from Vybz Kartel, Damian Marley, and Stonebwoy.
